A midcycle redesign has allowed the Hyundai Santa Fe to stand out from the crowd in 2021, especially with the new standard and available features that are included. Hyundai redid all powertrain options for the 2021 Santa Fe, which now offers two four-cylinder gasoline engine options and a hybrid variant. Inside, the Santa Fe's infotainment system got an increase in touchscreen size, as well as standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. All models now feature a push-button shifter instead of the standard shifter knob. In addition, the Santa Fe is now available in new top-level trim. The Ultimate Calligraphy model includes all of Hyundai's latest technology and upscale features.

Design

Performance

As mentioned, the 2021 model features three new powertrain options. A 2.5-litre four-cylinder gasoline engine is standard, and it delivers 191 horsepower and 9.1 L/100km combined fuel economy. The optional gasoline upgrade is a turbocharged 2.5-litre engine that delivers 277 horsepower. The real gem of the powertrains is the hybrid engine that combines a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine with a pair of electric motors to produce 225 horsepower.

Infotainment

One of the most user-friendly infotainment systems is found in the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe. Featuring intuitive controls and desirable features, the 2021 Santa Fe features a standard 8-inch, or optional 10.3-inch, touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard across all models.

Hyundai takes safety seriously with its SmartSense safety suite.
