2020 Hyundai Palisade Review, Pricing, and Specs

The 2020 Hyundai Palisade review from our Deaership

Spacious, versatile, and packed with standard features, the 2020 Hyundai Palisade offers power and room to spare. Thanks to its standard 3.liter V6 engine, seating for up to eight passengers, and Hyundai’s HTRAC all-wheel drive, the new Palisade may just be the perfect family SUV. This year’s Palisade comes in four trims – Essential, Preferred, Luxury, and Ultimate.

A Spacious, Comfortable, and Well-Appointed Cabin

Standard or available features like dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front and rear heated seats, premium cloth or Nappa leather upholstery, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel provide exceptional comfort. Convenience features include Push-button Start, Remote Keyless Entry, and four 12v charging outlets (two front, one rear, one cargo area). Third-row power-folding, unfolding, and reclining seats, along with sliding second-row seats with electric cargo-area releases, make getting in and out of the 2020 Hyundai Palisade a breeze. Remote start, a power tilt-and-slide conventional sunroof, and second-row single-zone automatic HVAC controls also come standard on all but Essential trims.

Entertainment Comes Standard on the New Palisade

Hyundai equips this year’s Palisade with a trim dependent choice of two different infotainment systems. Essential and Preferred models come from the factory with an AM/FM/MP3 audio system controlled by an eight-inch colour touchscreen interface. Luxury and Ultimate trims up the ante with a 12-speakers, 630-watt Harman Kardon premium system featuring QuantumLogic Surround and Clari-Fi Music Restoration Technology. The upgraded system also gets a larger 10.25-inch colour touchscreen, Navigation with traffic and incident data, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Hyundai’s BlueLink Connected Vehicle System. Both Audio systems include Bluetooth connectivity for music streaming and hands-free calling, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Exceptionally Safe

Standard safety features found on every new Palisade include Electronic Stability Control with Traction Control and Brake Assist, Trailer Sway Control, and a full suite of front, side, overhead, and knee airbags. Adaptive Cruise Control with stop-and-go capability, Lane Keeping Assist, and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist are just a few of the many driver-assist features that come on every 2020 Palisade.

Why Choose the New Palisade?

The new Palisade offers family buyers the opportunity to enjoy somewhat of a luxury experience at a price that won’t break their budget. Even the base Essential models come with standard features that most manufacturers only offer on their higher trims. Hyundai has fallen within the top three in the past two J.D. Power Initial Quality Studies, as well. Thus, Palisade buyers enjoy the rare combination of high quality and low-price.
